2. Insurer represented
BR PROTECTIA SL acts within the framework of its agency agreement with DKV Seguros y Reaseguros, S.A.E., DGSFP entity code C0161, for the insurance products distributed through this Website.
3. Nature of the distribution service
BR PROTECTIA SL identifies the customer’s insurance demands and needs and provides objective and understandable information about the relevant insurance product so that the customer can make an informed decision.
BR PROTECTIA SL does not provide personalised insurance advice based on an objective and personalised analysis of the market.
4. Acting on behalf of the insurer
In its insurance distribution activity, BR PROTECTIA SL acts as an exclusive insurance agent within the scope of its agency relationship with DKV Seguros y Reaseguros, S.A.E.
5. Remuneration
BR PROTECTIA SL is remunerated by the insurance undertaking through a commission for the distribution of insurance products. The customer does not pay BR PROTECTIA SL a separate fee for the insurance distribution service.
6. Qualifying holdings
Neither BR PROTECTIA SL nor Carlos Andrés Blanco Rey directly or indirectly hold 10% or more of the voting rights or capital of an insurance undertaking.
DKV Seguros y Reaseguros, S.A.E., and its parent undertaking do not directly or indirectly hold 10% or more of the voting rights or capital of BR PROTECTIA SL.
7. Verification of registration
The registration of BR PROTECTIA SL as an insurance distributor can be verified in the public register of the Dirección General de Seguros y Fondos de Pensiones (DGSFP) using registration key C0161B27662188.
8. Complaints and claims
Complaints relating to insurance distribution or the insurance contract may be addressed to the Customer Defence Department of DKV Seguros:

If the complaint is not resolved within the applicable period or the customer disagrees with the response, the customer may subsequently address the Complaints Service of the Dirección General de Seguros y Fondos de Pensiones, subject to the requirements established by applicable law.
9. DKV Visado – product process
For DKV Visado, BR PROTECTIA SL may provide the customer with a quotation and product information to allow the customer to decide whether to proceed with an application. If the customer decides to continue, the application is processed with DKV Seguros.
The contractual relationship is governed by the documentation issued by DKV Seguros, including the application, the applicable general conditions, the particular conditions, any special conditions, limitations, supplements or appendices, and the health declaration where applicable.
Customers should review the pre-contractual and contractual documentation made available for the product before the insurance contract is concluded and retain the documentation issued by DKV Seguros.
10. Customer demands and needs
Before the insurance contract is concluded, the customer’s demands and needs are identified on the basis of the information provided by the customer. The insurance product offered must be consistent with those demands and needs.
11. Important product information
Product summaries, quotations and explanatory materials are provided for information and do not replace the contractual documentation issued by DKV Seguros. In the event of any discrepancy, the applicable contractual documentation issued by the insurer prevails.
